Just a little for today...

Antique Bottle in Antique Frame 4x5 oil

One of the last pieces I painted for my current show...I never did post it ! It is a 4x5....that would be the smallest framed piece I ever painted. It is framed in a little antique frame I found in the attic. The other image is a plein air I did last Spring...I am getting that feeling to get outside and paint.
Little House 8x10
Not much going on doing some drawing for my new pieces. My tomatoes and all the other herbs and vegetables are up!!! The ground is turned and has the compost added to it...just waiting for the nighttime temps to improve a bit. Boy, I love the Spring!! Also been doing Spring house cleaning...just a few Oriental carpets upstairs to get done.
Aaaannnnnd......soon it will be tornado season... Oh, joy....but I still live here!
Much love,
Theresa

How rich and beautiful that bottle is. You're so talented to get all that beauty onto a small canvas. Love the Little House also!

I love the Spring, too! But, not the second part, Cleaning:)

What a cozy and inviting Little House, I want to drive my car in and pick some flowers for my cozy kitchen that was just cleaned by my housekeeper (lol) We can dream.

Hi Theresa,

The robins are back in flocks. Most of the snow has melted on the hill in the park. I'm amazed that you have
tomatoes and veggies. How lovely.
Beautiful work as always.

Happy Spring.

Your technique is superb--excellent work! I like the lighting on the bottle piece and the attention you have placed upon the fragmented light--are you a photographer also?

Your paintings are stunning! Which impressionist are you a descendant of? :-} Thanks for sharing

These are lovely Theresa! Spring comes late here and they are calling for snow tomorrow with highs today of 60 - so will enjoy this day & paint inside tomorrow :)
I envy you having your veggies up already!

Lovely bottle! Enjoy the spring, one of my favorite times of the year, except for the summer, fall and winter, LOL!

Theresa, both of these are just great! Love that you framed the antique bottle in an antique frame! Too cool. Love the colors in the second one...they marry up just perfectly! Love, L

Antique bottle looks amazing, such rich and deep colours, reminds me of the works by masters of centuries ago !!!

Hi Theresa,

I like the old masters kind of look of the painting with the bottle.
You have some really good works on your website.

Kind regards,

José

Love the bottle and like the little house as well.

Clean out the storm cellar before the storms arrive.

Theresa, I am passing an award on to you that was given to me today. You can read and see it on my blog. I can tell by reading your blog and viewing your work how passionate you are about art, so you deserve this award. Hope you don't mind?
